Stuart Horace Ringrose – at KEGS 1942-53, died 7th August 2022 aged 88
Stuart worked for the National Provincial Bank in Bury St. Edmunds 1953-55, then 1955-66 the Bank of West Africa Ltd. in various Nigerian branches. From 1966 to 1968 Stuart worked for Forward Trust Ltd., Birmingham, then joined the Astley Industrial Trust Ltd., Birmingham.
In 1972 he moved with the company to London, from where he took early retirement in July 1987. In April 1988 he started working with the DHSS (London Southern Region) in Sutton. In 1990 he became Financial Controller for a small electrical-semiconductor wholesaler in Sutton.
Stuart was a staunch supporter of the Old Burians’ Association for many years and regularly attended both the London and Bury St. Edmunds Reunions.
